Express your views on the UK timber industry, managing impacts of deer in England and land reform in Scotland
How can we grow the UK timber industry and reduce global deforestation?
The Environmental Audit Committee is seeking views on the sustainability of the UK’s timber industry and its links with imports of key commodities and global deforestation. This is a real chance to influence how we keep up with the skyrocketing demand for timber, meet our net zero ambitions and avoid offshoring our problems to the rest of the world.
We will be submitting evidence and we urge members to send us comments by 2 September to help shape our response. Please send your comments to our Head of Policy & Partnerships, Jemima Cooper.
