Access to all conference content is now available for just £95, with individual day tickets available for £50. Individual session tickets are also available for £15 each.

TPBE5 Conference Programme

This fifth Trees, People and the Built Environment (TPBE5) hybrid conference examined two very different roles for trees – how they can improve the quality of place for both people and nature, and also how they can contribute to the net zero carbon ambition for buildings and the built environment.

Chaired by Kevin McCloud MBE FICFor (Hon) and Gary Newman, this first-of-its-kind two-day hybrid conference answered the critical questions being asked across professions working in the built and natural environment sectors, explored how practice can benefit from evidence-based research, and how practice can call for the research that it needs for evidence-based decision making.

If significant change is to take place in our urban environments it is critical that we should begin to think differently. Now is the time to reflect on the role of urban trees so that we can demonstrate that they are part of an integrated urban system within a much greater national and global ecosystem.

If you missed out on the conference now is the time to get involved!
