After a pledge for more collaboration between professional institute’s at the Trees, People and the Built Environment 4 conference at the start of the year, our Executive Director, Shireen Chambers MBE FICFor, has attended a six monthly meeting with CEOs from the natural and built environment sectors. Shireen was joined by Sue Morgan from the Landscape Institute, Victoria Hills from the Royal Town Planning Institute, Sue Percy from the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation, Rebecca Lovelace from Building People and Alan Vallance from RIBA.
They discussed the current issues experienced across their sectors, such as the skills crisis, COP26 and diversity, and had the chance to collaborate on solutions and share practice.
The next meeting is due to take place in May 2022.
