Get involved with a DiversiTree project

Dr Seumas Bates, Research Officer in Environmental Social Science at Bangor University’s School of Environmental and Natural Sciences, is looking to hear from woodland managers as part of work with the DiversiTree project. Dr Bates is looking to engage with particularly excellent or interesting examples of specific woodland management methods and hopes to interview woodland managers or foresters who are particularly interested in:

  1. Novel planting (particularly of non-native or exotic species)
  2. Natural regeneration (particularly if there is a production focus for the woodland)
  3. Bio-char (this is part of our engagement with microbioal management of woodlands)

If you or anyone you know has been making good use of any of these methods, please contact Dr Bates to arrange an interview.
