We are currently looking for an Area Manager to join our team in Selkirk. This is a permanent, full-time role with an expectation of being present in the office at least 3 days per week.

In this varied role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to manage land and forests, focusing on timber production, sustainable practices, climate adaptation, carbon sequestration, biodiversity enhancement, and recreational facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring the forestry team
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental laws
  • Managing budgets and work programs for operations like timber harvesting and peatland restoration
