Forestry and Land Scotland is looking for an organized and pro-active project co-ordinator to join our national carbon projects team.
This is an exciting and varied role supporting an emerging programme of partnerships for climate and biodiversity at FLS. This maternity cover position will pick up an established portfolio of Woodland Carbon Code and Peatland Code projects on national land across Scotland – from Highland glens to remediated coalfields, intricate riparian woodland networks to vast upland blanket bogs – all at various stages of development.
The role is an excellent development opportunity, where you will be working with a range of experts within FLS national and regional teams as well as external stakeholders to take projects through scoping, registration and validation to the carbon codes.
