H W Forestry Ltd has been supplying forest management advice and consultancy services to a broad range of clients across Wales since 1985. Due to continued growth of our business, we require an experienced Forest Manager to join our team based in Johnstown, Carmarthenshire.
We are looking for someone to join us who is highly motivated and wants to develop their professional skill set working closely with very experienced professionals. You will need good communication skills and the ability to engage with clients, regulatory bodies and other professionals with confidence and clarity. You will need to be comfortable to take on multiple projects and manage competing demands for your time. In addition to this you will ideally have:
- Relevant academic qualifications and experience
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or currently working towards membership
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Forestry or closely related Land management discipline
- Good knowledge of current forestry practice and legislation
- Full UK Driving licence
