Job description

RTS Forestry is the leading independent Forest Management Company operating throughout Scotland and Northern England. We are seeking a dynamic Forest Manager/Senior Forest Manager to join our team of 22 professional foresters. We have offices in Crieff, Hexham Inverness and Aboyne.

If your ambition is to deliver forest management with a high degree of independence whilst still benefitting from being part of a professional team, you should be applying for this exciting position within RTS Forestry.

We take huge pride in being an active and agile firm. Every manager takes responsibility for their own operations and has pride in delivering high quality works. We are independent of any timber end users and this provides full operational flexibility to the benefit of both our clients and Forest Managers.

The advertised position is based in Perthshire within our Crieff Office providing a service to existing clients throughout this part of Scotland.

The role will be to undertake the forest management on a number of large integrated estates where, as the Forest Manager, you will enjoy working and contributing to deliver existing projects and develop new woodland schemes. Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable.

At RTS Forestry we will agree an attractive salary package commensurate with both your experience and your potential to contribute to the continuing success of the company. Vehicle, pension contribution and participation in the annual bonus scheme will also be provided. We encourage continued professional development including ICF membership and will support staff to achieve this.
