Job description

We have exciting opportunity for you to be a key member of our Southern Harvesting Team in the role of Harvesting Contracts Manager.

The Harvesting Contracts Manager role will be to assist with the management of timber harvesting operations with specific responsibility for all aspects of site management, harvesting production and logistics. The successful candidate will be expected to take on the Forestry Work Manager role and report to the Harvesting Manager.

About You:

As an experienced forestry professional, with a background in forestry (or other related sector), you are able to demonstrate your strong commercial acumen and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. In addition, you’ll have:

  • Relevant supervisory experience
  • Safety, environmental and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to lead teams effectively
  • Ability to manage day to day relationships with contractors, hauliers, suppliers and customers
  • Ability to work in fast-paced changing commercial environment
  • Self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Team player qualities
  • Full Driving Licence
