Job description

We are a progressive, forest management company based within the Midlands. Our mission is to provide a one of a kind, stand-out service to our range of clients. Our winning approach to forestry has resulted in unprecedented demand for our services, and as such an exciting Rural Tree Surveyor position has been developed.

We’re looking for a Rural Tree Surveyor to join our team of consultants. This person will undertake professional tree inspection surveys across a range of rural properties in Central England, including roadsides, boundaries, properties, public rights of way etc. The role will also include planning, tendering and overseeing operational activities as a result of recommended works.

We currently do not undertake development surveys and these are unlikely to feature in this role. An interest in forestry or land management is desirable as there will be opportunity to assist with rural estate forestry management and operations from time to time.

Relevant arboricultural training is expected with PTI qualification and at least three years experience desired.

Please see our website and socials for more information and insight into the company.

The Package:

  • Generous Salary (dependent on experience)
  • Homebased (with paid travel required throughout the midlands)
  • Full-Time, Permanent Role (part-time considered)
  • Car allowance
  • Flexible Working
  • 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays and additional Christmas leave
  • CPD Allowance
  • ICF Membership
  • Competitive Pension Scheme
  • Outdoor Work Allowance
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • Employee Socials

Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable.

For an informal chat, please contact Charles, or to apply, please send a CV and covering letter to: charles@robinson-forestry.co.uk.
