Job description

Are you passionate about protecting the long-term health of Scotland’s trees, woods and forests?

Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, able to use initiative and creative thinking to deliver solutions as part of a team?

If your answer to these questions is a resounding ‘yes!’ then you could be just the person we’re looking for to fill an exciting role at Scottish Forestry. We’re currently seeking a Tree Health Planning and Contingency Manager to join our small Tree Health team to help protect the range of tree species found across Scotland.

Working with a range of stakeholders from the environment, research and plant health sectors, you will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing management of diseases and long-term health of Scotland’s trees, woods and forests and increasing their resilience to future threats.

If you believe you have what it takes to play a key role in the protection of Scotland’s trees and are excited at the opportunity to be a part of a team that shares this vision, please complete the application.
