Scottish Forestry is offering 12 month student placements for people studying forestry or a forestry-related discipline. It’s a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable forest management while contributing to Scotland’s ambitious woodland creation goals.

You’ll work alongside experienced Woodland Officers and Assistant Woodland Officers to support key grants and regulatory work. From planning and inspections to stakeholder engagement, your role will be varied and meaningful.

Scottish Forestry offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements allowing you to balance time between the office, remote working, and outdoor site visits.
