The Woodland Investment Grant launches in Wales

As part of the National Forest for Wales Programme, a connected network of forests which will span the length of Wales, the Welsh Government have just launched The Woodland Investment Grant (TWIG). The National Forest will restore, enhance and create woodlands and habitats. With £2.5 million available for this window, TWIG scheme will award grants to enhance and expand existing woodlands and create new woodlands that will become part of the National Forest.

Applications opened on 14 July 2021 and will close on 27 August 2021. The maximum grant award per application is up to £250,000 (minimum is £10,000) and all projects and costs incurred must be complete by 31 March 2022.
