If so, you are invited to take part in the latest British Woodlands Survey exploring all aspects of public access to woodlands.
This important new research in the respected national survey is led by a team of researchers from Sylva Foundation and Forest Research, with funding provided by Defra.
The researchers hope to gather evidence to understand and support public access to woodlands. In England, the England Trees Action Plan seeks to ensure that the provision of safe public access is a feature of as many woodlands as possible. The Woodland Access Implementation Plan sets out ambitions to support the delivery of this aim. Whilst these elements are relevant only to England, experiences in Scotland and Wales are also of interest and will provide important comparisons which can help guide understanding and best practice.
